Reading Eggs is helping me read.

I am learning to sound out vowels as the middle sounds, and write silly sentences.

"Silly Sentences are very funny. I like to write them because they are really silly and funny.  They are easy to write because I know how to write all of those words."

I am learning to identify silent e and long vowel sounds in words.

"I am trying to find out where long vowels are in the words, and I can find the silent e. I like that we learn how to read at school.  I read two books at home. It is tricky to find long vowel sounds.  Mrs Wyatt, Zurielle, Aila and my sister help me read."

I am learning to write my idea in a sentence that makes sense.

"I am good at writing lots of sentences that make sense.  I can spell words correctly in my writing.  I always remember finger spaces, and full stops.  Mrs Wyatt and and Zurielle help me with my writing.

I am learning to skip count in 2's, 5's and 10's.

"It is hard to skip count in 2's and 5's, but skip counting in 10's is easy.  I am getting better at the 5's. It is fun doing maths. Zurielle and Mrs Wyatt helps me."
